Korea, officially known as the Republic of Korea, is a country located in East Asia. It is divided into two separate sovereign states: South Korea and North Korea. In this response, I will primarily focus on South Korea, as it is more commonly visited by tourists and has a higher level of international engagement. South Korea has a rich history spanning thousands of years. It is known for its ancient palaces, Buddhist temples, and traditional Hanbok clothing. The country has also made significant contributions to the fields of art, literature, music (K-pop), and cinema (Korean dramas and movies).

South Korea boasts diverse landscapes, ranging from mountains and national parks to beautiful coastlines. Seoraksan National Park, Jeju Island, and Nami Island are popular destinations for their scenic beauty and outdoor activities.Korean cuisine, known as "Hansik," is renowned for its bold flavors and extensive use of vegetables, rice, and fermented foods. Some popular dishes include Kimchi (fermented cabbage), Bibimbap (mixed rice with vegetables and meat), Bulgogi (marinated grilled beef), and Korean BBQ.
